Magnets in headphones can interfere with the functioning of heart devices. Scientists at Harvard tested MP3 player headphones on 60 patients with defibrillators or pacemakers. The headphones, when placed on the patients’ chests, above the devices, interfered with the pacemakers in 15 per cent of the Patients, and with defibrillators in 30 percent. The MP3 players themselves did not pose any threat. Headphones interfere when placed within 1.2 inches of the devices. So it is safe to use them in the ears.Better avoid headphones and this may prevent your heart devices and make your life strong. This is one of the successful research by health department.
