Steps For Pole Walking

  • Keep Your Head up.
  • Keep eyes forward head level, neck to be relaxed
  • Swing one arm forward until fully extended, as if reaching for a handshake. Meanwhile, drive in the opposite arm back past the hip, pushing back on the pole until it’s fully extended behind you.
  • Don’t grip the handles too tightly
  • As your right pole and shoulder swing forward, your right foot and hip drive backward.
  • Learn Forward very slightly from your ankles
  • Poles land in line with your opposite heel, angled forward at 45 degrees. Be sure to use rubber tips on payment or asphalt.
  • Front foot lands heel first. Push off of the toes of your back foot.

These are the some steps to be followed for the Pole walking.
